I posted the first blog on RAWBangkok in August last year. The idea was to pair Penfold and Werewolf on a single blog to offer something very different from the typical blog.
It hasn’t ever really happened.
At first Pefold was in England working and he couldn”t find the time to blog. But he’s been back in Bangkok for two months now, and now he’s too busy living his unique lifestyle to spend any time writing about it.
He and I are friends. We see each other several times per week. Three times at the gym at least, plus the occasional drinks or a meal.
But RAW isn’t raw without Penfold actively contributing. Plus, over the past few months my lifestyle has fallen into a sedate mode of unexciting routine. We really need Penfold’s contributions to make RAW what it was intended to be.
I’m ready to admit that he’s not gonna start writng any time soon, so I’ve decided to crawl back to my lair.
So I’ve restored all of my old blogs on, and I’ve also added most of the blogs that I wrote here on RAW. For the forseeable future, any blogs I produce will be posted on ().
I don’t plan to return to the daily diary format of before; I will simply add blogs whenever I have something I want to say.
RAW will be here, at least for the time being, but unless Penfold suddenly finds his muse and starts writing, I don’t plan to be adding anything new here.
Thanks for visiting over the past few months. You know where to find me.

My sister is coming to Thailand. She has a work contract that will last for two weeks, and after it is completed she will stay for a couple weeks of holiday. She doesn’t know yet where she will be working in Thailand… it could be in Bangkok or it could be upcountry somewhere. But one way or another I will see her soon.
I’m pretty excited; I like my sister very much. We’re good friends.
She’s about ten years older than me — 58 to be exact. I haven’t seen her for three years, but the last time I did see her we went out shopping together in the afternoon and listening to some live music in the evening. Even at age 55 she could turn heads walking down the street. She’s the oldest in the family, and we’ve always suspected that she has a different father than us younger ones. Whoever he was, he must have been a good lookin’ fella ’cause my big sister has always been beautiful.
She tells me now that she is starting to show her age. She’s just about the same size as when she was at University, but maybe her hips have spread a bit. She says, though, that the skin is starting to tell the tale. Deeper crows feet at the eyes, dry skin on the neck that doesn’t look as supple as before. I’m not sure how old she looks now, but I’m betting it’s closer to an attractive 48 than an aging 58.
