I heard from a friend that the movie Slumdog Millionaire was very good. Then it won all those awards. It seemed like other people agreed with my buddy. .
Turns out that the movie is good. I watched it yesterday just before I went to the Big Mango party. Today I was bored and so I watched it again.
The best part of the movie may be Freida Pinto, the beautiful Indian model and actress in the photo above.
If you want to see a bit more of Freida Pinto she’s easy to find on Google these days. One guy who has a lot of good photos of her is .
Meanwhile, back in Bangkok things were not as good as I’d expected them to be last night. On my way home from the Big Mango I spotted a girl in a pink shirt and white shorts with a face that rivaled Freida Pinto for loveliness.
I cruised past her, then circled back for a second look. I hadn’t had much to drink late in the evening, so I was pretty clear-headed and I wasn’t burdened with beer goggles. She definitely looked good in her pink and white and fresh face. She had some very large boobs and a tiny waist. Her legs looked great.
I invited her home and she agreed.
Things were fine until the towel came off at home. Her breasts were big, but they looked like partially deflated balloons. They were flabby and wrinkled. Her tummy and legs were tight, so if it was from having a baby then it hadn’t wrecked her whole body.
She had a huge birthmark that covered the bottom half of her right tit, and most of the right side of her abdomen. It was like a large red wine stain and it ws disconcertingly unattractive.
She was naked and in the room, so I went ahead and did what I’d brought her home for, but it was quick and fairly joyless. I paid her, she left. All in all not very satisfying. The girl did everything right, I just couldn’t get the vision of those giant flabby titties and that birthmark out of my head. I probably won’t be able to eat anything today.

I think I’ll get back to Googling Freida Pinto now.

I thought the movie was better the second time round. Whenever a film goes out of chronological sequence (back and forth in time), it tends to throw the thought train off… or at least mine. Watching it for a second, third time helps get the subtle intricacies out.
