It’s been a relatively quiet week in Thai politics.  A new Prime Minister was selected and approved by the King, and the collapse of two financial giants in the US sparked a crisis in the financial industry that will surely have ripple effects here in Thailand.

As we close the week, I thought I’d offer a brief update on the state of play for a few of the key political groups and individuals in the country.

Finding Fresh Young Bar Girls

This is a post about sex (and possibly romance) with youthful females. Let’s get this out of the way up front – when I talk about young Thai bar girls I mean girls at or above the age of consent. Girls below that age are children, not sexual objects. But as you can see from the photo at the top of the blog, Thai girls are so petite and young-looking in general, that it’s not always easy to tell the difference.

But one of the reasons the reason I came to live in Thailand is that, although I keep growing older, it’s possible for the girls that I cuddle with to remain the same age. For me, that means a range that runs from about 19 to a shade over 30 years old.

But there’s often a huge difference between a girl who is, say 20, and one who is 29, and – at least where ladies of negotiable virtue are involved – the rules that apply to fine wine don’t necessarily apply here. In other words, ladies of the night don’t necessarily get better with age.
